The Liberty Quilt pattern shown in this photo is a replica of the original quilt that is on display in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.  It was embroidered by Betty Helvey (not shown) and Wanda Rickman and the quilt was made by all the SPBGBC Ladies Aid Quilters, including: Mary Lee Berry (not shown), Betty Helvey, Gwen Pope, Wanda Rickman and Karen Winberry.
The $400 proceeds from the sale of the quilt will be used by the Ladies Aid and the South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church to help feed the hungry in the Poplar Bluff area during the holiday season.
